BrainGymnastics STEAM Camp Adventure 2022  (6-13 y/o)

Jun 20 - Jun 23

Take your child’s mind out for an adventure towards a world full of knowledge and endless possibilities.

My daughter had a great time at the four-day Easter camp. She has already asked me about signing up for summer camp.

Summer STEAM Adventure Camp 2022

A 4-day Camp for curious Campers, each day designed to enthuse their young minds and relish the closing of the school year.  This Summer Camp is guaranteed to be another memorable experience, combining STEAM activities while exploring art, culture, and sports.

STEAM is an approach to learning that uses Science, Technology, Engineering, the Arts and Mathematics as access points for guiding children inquiry, dialogue, and critical thinking.

The 4-Day  Camp Program

The STEAM Camp will kick- off with the traditional Piñata hitting to kickstart the Camp. Your child will not only be enthused with learning STEAM, but as well, strengthen their understanding of basic concepts whilst having fun.

Day 1: June 20

Electric volts and Poke Bowl Day!

Morning: Exploring electricity!

How is electricity generated? What are the ways that we can produce it? Let the power run through their minds as we get the wires trying small electricity projects and gauging volt meters for our Campers to explore. A fun way to do practical math calculation is to understand electricity household consumption.

Afternoon: Sushi and Poke Bowl Making

A poke bowl and sushi lesson in the afternoon to brighten up the intense morning and signal the start of summer vacation. The Campers will have hands-on experience in creating their own sushi and poke bowl. You may be lucky to have some surprise dinner treats.

Day 2: June 21

The Physics and Science of Golf

Whole day:  Mini-golf adventure with Science

Ready to score that hole-in-one? Spend the day practicing your best swing in one of the best mini-golf course in Stockholm. An ice cream or slush treat is also included. You will be playing in groups and as an individual

Day 3: June 22

Build a Mini-Bot and play Badminton

Morning: Constructing a Mini-Bot!

What could be more awesome than building your own bot? Well, learning the science behind it all, understanding the components and how it operates.

Afternoon: Hit the Court!

To end the day, learning and playing badminton rounds to truly appreciate the wellness in both mind and body.
We will provide the rackets so you just have to come and have fun, even the younger kids can enjoy.

Day 4: June 23

Chess, Rock Climbing and summer STEAM Party

Morning: Chess lesson and Squishy Circuits

An opportunity for children to understand, and try playing chess. For others, an opportunity to challenge other Campers on their skills playing chess. Afterwards, a lesson on open and close circuits demonstrated through a squishy circuit. Campers who will not play chess can spend their artistic side sculpturing squishy circuit figurines modeling the different chess pieces.

Afternoon: Climb the Walls & STEAM Summer Party
